Cellulite is a complex multi-factorial condition hallmarked by fat trapped in the dermal layer of your skin leading to dimpling, waviness, “orange peel” or “cottage cheese” appearing skin texture and/or overall less smooth contour irregularity. The dimpling is often caused by “fibrous septae". It is NOT treated by liposuction or coolsculpting
We offer 2 options, depending on the type and area located of the cellulite
1) QWO (collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes) is the first and only FDA-approved injectable for the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women. QWO contains two types of collagen-degrading enzymes that eat away at the fibrous bands (or fibrous septae) connecting skin to muscle, gradually dissolving the tethers and allowing the skin to float up and smooth out. 2) Velashape III- a non invasive option using energy based device ( see below for more info)
How Does QWO work? women develop cellulite due to the connective bands attaching the skin to the structural tissues beneath. Fat is trapped inside the pockets between the bands, and it pushes up against the surface skin, creating the signature cottage cheese appearance of cellulite.
QWO™ works in three ways to improve the appearance of cellulite:
It releases some of those fibrous bands
It redistributes fat cells when those bands are broken
It stimulates the production of new amounts of collagen

What can I expect during my QWO injection session?
We start by marking the dimpled areas on your buttocks that are to be injected. QWO™ is then injected superficially with a very small needle. Because there is much more fat and far fewer nerves in the buttocks, these injections are not painful. QWO™ sessions are completely non-invasive and take just 15 minutes. Generally there are 3 sessions performed & spaced apart 21 days.
What are side effects and after care? The most common side effects after QWO™ injections include bruising, pain, areas of hardness, itching, redness, discoloration, swelling, and warmth in the treated areas. Brusing is very typical especially after the first session and can last 7-14 days. This can be minimized with the use of topical arnica like products.
How long until I see results and How long do they last? In general it takes about 10 weeks time for the enzyme reactions to break down more and more of the connective bands and free those connections to lessen the dimpled appearance of cellulite. QWO is a new treatment, so there aren’t any long-term results to compare, but because QWO™ works on the structural causes of cellulite, it is assumed these are permanent changes. Currently we can say results last at minimum 1+ years , but as additional data from its usage is gathered more information will be available about its longevity.
What is the cost? $1200 per session, package rate of 3 is based on how many dimples are treated (12-24 dimples) the cost ranges $2700-$3200 which includes all 3 sessions *individual results may vary

What is a VelaShape III treatment?
VelaShape III is a noninvasive body contouring treatment that’s been cleared by the FDA for temporary cellulite reduction, as well as the circumferential reduction of the thighs and abdomen. It can be used after body contouring procedures as a deep massage to facilitate lymphatic drainage. Velashape III is more advanced that its previous versions: velasmooth/velashapes I and II.
The most commonly treated areas are the thighs, buttocks, upper arms, and stomach. It can also reduce excess fat and mildly sagging skin under the chin.
Unlike most cellulite treatments that use one modality to treat the appearance of dimpled skin, VelaShape uses a combination of four: infrared light, bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy, massage, and gentle suction. The suction brings the skin closer to the energy source inside the handheld device, working with the massage to help relax and stretch the stiff fibrous bands under the skin that cause the dimpling and orange peel texture known as cellulite.
Theinfrared and RF energies heat the skin, tightening tissue and making fat cells shrink and, in some cases, die. The heat reduces skin laxity by tightening the existing underlying dermal collagen fibers and stimulating collagen and elastin production, which builds more firmness and elasticity over time.
What are the pros and cons of VelaShape III?
Pros
Treatments don’t take very long. The procedure itself typically only lasts 20 to 30 minutes, though it can take longer for multiple areas.
There’s no downtime afterward.
The procedure is, by most accounts, painless.
It works well in combination with other procedures.
It's safe for all skin types and tones.
Cons
You’ll need multiple treatments—usually three to six sessions, spaced a week or so apart—to see results. Candela Medical (the makers of VelaShape) say you'll see results in just three treatments, but multiple it can take up to six.
Your results will be temporary, and you’ll need three to four follow-up sessions every year to maintain them.
Results are temporary and can be subtle.
Does VelaShape get rid of cellulite?
There’s no permanent cellulite removal solution, but VelaShape III can improve its appearance. Cellulite is caused by fibrous bands, called septa, that run vertically between the skin and fascia. These bands bundle fat into honeycomb-like compartments. When they stiffen in response to hormonal shifts, they pull the skin down and compress the fat until it bulges out of these compartments, causing the appearance of dimples and pits on the skin’s surface.
VelaShape's suction and massage rollers relax the bands, while the RF energy shrinks the fat cells in the treatment area. The combination creates a temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Follow up treatments are recommended every 6 months
How Much does it cost?
Sessions can be 1-2 a week for 2-3 weeks. Series of 3-6 recommended. Sessions are typically 20-60 minutes depending on which areas treated.
